How to teach Portuguese to SPANISH speakers
In this training, we will address the cultural characteristics that are relevant for the Portuguese teacher to know. We will also show the main difficulties of Spanish speakers to learn Portuguese, considering grammatical, structural and phonetic issues (interlingua). We will recommend teaching materials, authentic activities and the best tips for the teacher to develop Portuguese classes for native speakers of this language.

Chris Pacino
Cristina Pacino has lived in Madrid since 2004 and has been teaching Portuguese for Spanish speakers for 12 years, as well as Spanish for Brazilians. It has its own online Spanish course with video classes ranging from zero to advanced. In Spain, he studied Pedagogy at the Máster en Formación de Profesores at the UFV and is currently studying Literature-Spanish at the Complutense University of Madrid. He has several specialization courses in teaching English (Cambridge, International House) in addition to Spanish and Portuguese. She also holds a degree in Public Relations from Cásper Líbero (São Paulo) and an MBA in Marketing from ESPM.

How to teach Portuguese to ITALIAN speakers
In this training, we will address historical and geographical aspects of Italy, as well as cultural characteristics that are relevant for the Portuguese teacher to know. We will also show the main difficulties for Italian speakers to learn Portuguese, considering grammatical, structural and phonetic issues. We will recommend teaching materials, authentic activities and the best tips for the teacher to develop Portuguese classes for native speakers of that language.

Camila Cynara Lima de Almeida
Camila Cynara Lima de Almeida holds a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Brasília (UnB) and a degree in Portuguese and English Language and Literature from the same institution. She is a licensed professor of Portuguese Language at the State Secretariat of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF) and Reader at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Bologna (Unibo), in Italy.

We will also show the main difficulties for French speakers to learn Portuguese, considering grammatical, structural and phonetic issues. We will recommend didactic materials, authentic activities and the best tips for the teacher to develop Portuguese classes for native speakers of this language.

Alexandre Ferreira Martins
Alexandre Ferreira Martins holds a PhD and a Masters in Linguistics from the Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3, France. He graduated in Literature (Portuguese, French and Literature) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and graduated in Portuguese at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, under CAPES. He was a university professor in France for almost five years. In addition to Brazil, he lived in Portugal, France and South Korea. He is Leitor Guimarães Rosa, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. She already had experience with speakers of different languages, especially French and distant languages, such as Korean, in a university or host context.
Verônica Borsato teaches Portuguese and French as Additional Languages. She was a Portuguese reader at the Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 University (France), is a Master's student in Didactics of French as a Foreign and Second Language at the same institution and has a degree in Languages - Portuguese and French from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
